Age Divisions

Age divisions for both male and female are:
19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over. Further age division break downs over age 75 will be created as needed based on entries  received.

Marathon Walk

Marathon walkers are encouraged to enter the event. The fees, course, and start times are the same as for the run. Walkers will receive full use of aid stations along the course. Finishers will receive a Finisher T-shirt as well as a commemorative medal (may be mailed for entries received after May 5, 2009). This event is designed for walkers who can complete the course in seven hours or less. Traffic lanes will be reopened after five hours, however there is plenty of paved highway shoulder. This event is timed but not competitive and no age and gender awards are given. The course and finish area will be shut down after 7 hours.

Hercules & Athena

As an added incentive for large-framed runners, our event will feature a Hercules division for male competitors over 190 lbs. and an Athena division for females over 145 lbs. Those wishing to be included must weigh-in at packet pickup. A special award will be presented to the top three finishers in both the male and female category.
