Athletes must pick up their race packets between 3:00 pm and 9:30 pm on Friday May 31st, 2013 at Race
Headquarters located at the Embarcadero Resort Hotel. There will be no packet or number pick-up on race day.
A pre-race pasta dinner will be held at 5:30 to 8:00 PM May 31st, 2013 at the Newport High School
multi-purpose room. Directions and tickets will be available at race headquarters. The cost is $7.00 per person (kids 11 and under are
$4.00) and includes pasta with marinara sauce, salad and dressing, bread, dessert, and soft drinks. See the registration form for
The Walkers will begin at exactly 6:00, am and the Runners will begin at exactly 7:00 am. Skateboards, baby joggers or strollers, rollerskates or
blades, animals, are prohibited on the course.
Complimentary food and drink will be available for the runners at the finish line.
Showers will be available beginning at 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Newport High School
for a small towel fee of $2.00. Directions will be available at race headquarters.
Awards (2013 NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR)
Awards will be presented at Yaquina View School at 2:30PM following the race. (Just up the hill and to the left from the finish.)
